Dye Tipbit

Fibre Reactive Dyes - for cellulose fibres like cotton, rayon, tencel, bamboo, linen - also silk Cibacron F - use these dyes at 75 to 105 degrees, and up to 120 degrees for better penetration on a high twist silk Procion MX dyes - are a great cold water dye. At temperatures above 110 degrees Farenheit the dyes react with the water faster than they do the fibres, resulting in weaker, lighter shades and an uneven dyebath. Sharon

Knit in at Judiths

Thank you Judith for having the 'knit in' at your house yesterday. 7 Members enjoyed the relaxing knit and chat company. Judith taught us a trick to not see the colour jog when you change colours in circular knitting and a few other things. Along with our brown bagged lunch, Judith spoilt us with a bowl of her homemade Squash soup DELICIOUS!

No 'knit in' next month but in January. Need more info contact Judith.
