'Knit in' at Glorias'

There was a big turn out at Glorias' 'Knit in' last Monday. I arrived late so missed the lesson on Cables, but there were quite a few cable swatches being knit around the room. Thank you Judith.

After a chat and chew, a few more rows/rounds were formed and helpful hints shared, Gloria took us all outside to see her new Angora Goat Kids. Oh! so CUTE! It was a great day. Thank you Gloria.

I noticed alot of you were taking pictures of Glorias animals if you have any you would like to share please email them to me and I will post them on this blog. Thank you, Clare.

Spin Fine - Superfine Merino Workshop New Date

Saturday and Sunday, May 31/June 1, 2008.
There has been a change of date for the above workshop due to a unforeseen family commitment. The new date is May 31 - June 1, 2008. My apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. If anyone is still interested in attending this workshop, there is a maximum of 12 students , 10 are signed up with only two openings left. Any remaining openings will be offered to non-member spinners at Kalamalka's Spin In April. Judith

This Workshop starts at 10am this Saturday 15th and will finish about 3pm.

Williams Lake Stampede

Please give this to any of your vendors that would be interested in this opportunity to sell their wares at the Williams Lake Stampede.

As you may know, Williams Lake has the stampede this year on June 27- 30. In light of the fact that the Stampede grounds do not hold much space for vendors, we have acquired the Longhouse for vending opportunities.
